I am an elementary education major at University of Nevada, Reno. I have babysat for many different families when I lived in Lake Tahoe based on parental need and I was a nanny for a family with three girls. I nannied for them for five years until the oldest daughter became old enough to take care of them herself. I have babysat up to five children by myself before and it went very well. Along with these jobs I also worked through my church in Tahoe for the Parents Night Out program where I would babysit kids with one or two other teens from the community from about 5pm to 11pm while their parents went out (this would be anywhere from 1 to 15 kids or sometimes more, all different ages). I also am an identical twin so I understand how to take care of multiple children at once while Read more still providing individual attention. Being a twin, I know that this is an important concept. I love being outside and I love playing with kids while still keeping them focused on things they may need to accomplish. Over my years of experience I have become confident in many basic skills from diaper changes to bed times. I can cook as well and I truly just enjoy helping out as much as possible and making sure the children are happy and safe!
