My name is Lydiana and I am 23 years old. Most people call me "Lydi" because it's much easier to remember. I am originally from Puerto Rico, but raised here in Albany, NY. I am creative, outgoing and so full of energy. I grew up in a big family. I am the oldest of four. I have two younger sisters and one younger brother. I absolutely love music, I love to sing, and I enjoy playing soccer. I am looking to pursue a career in nursing and work in a pediatric unit one day. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant. I obtained my certification in October of 2011. I currently am working with children at St. Margaret's Center For Disability Services and have been for almost two years now. There I take care of kids ranging from all ages, of different backgrounds with different levels of functioning. I provide direct Read more care and assist them with all activities of daily living such as feeding, bathing and grooming. I do activities with them. I read books to them, play music with them, and go on walks. This job requires a lot of patience and attentiveness and getting things done in a timely manner. I also have experience with my cousins two boys. The oldest is two years old and the youngest is eight months old. I have taken care of them both since they were newborns up until now. I also am a mother to a beautiful one year old daughter. Overall, I absolutely love what I do. With me, your children will have fun, playing and learning rather than just sitting in front of a television screen. I look forward to meeting you and your children!
