Worked in a Public School as an aide for 2 years and had a daycare in my home for 5 years. Completed several college courses in psychology including child psychology. Worked 25 years for NYS and retired in 2010. From 2011 to 2014 volunteered time babysitting neighbors children one with special needs. Completed mandatory on-line training for child care provider for employment with Resource Center for Independent Living (RCIL). In 2014 underwent a mandatory TB test, complete physical and criminal background check for employment with RCIL. I have a clean bill of health and no prior criminal history. I secured employment with RCIL in September of 2014 as an in-home child respite provider taking care of a 7 year old child with special needs. I work approximately 10 hours a week and my duties include bathing, dressing, potty training, changing diapers, feeding, playing, outings and light housework.
