Hi! My name's Mariand, I'm a 30 year old actress living in New York. My two loves are musical theatre and children! While getting my degree at the University of Miami, I worked every summer at their children's theatre camp, STA (Summer Theatre Academy), an extensive theatre training program for kids who show a profound interest in the performing arts, or just want to sing and dance and explore their inner artist. I taught music and singing lessons and also served as a care-taker and disciplinarian. My time in NY has been spent with a strong focus on my acting career but I would like to start transitioning into teaching and I thought spending some more time with children again would be a great way to start. Side note- I LOVE to cook and really believe in teaching children the importance of healthy, nutritious and delicious food!
