Hello! My name is Kera and I am a responsible, cheerful, nurturing sitter looking forward to spending time with your children! I have spent the last three years working for Disney Cruise Line as a Mainstage Performer and Character Greeter and found so much joy in performing for kids and watching them light up as they got to meet their favorite Disney fiends. Before leaving for the cruise ship, I was a babysitter for a family that lived on the NYU campus near Washington Square Park. When I started, I looked after a two and a half year old boy and a few months later, his newborn baby brother too. Over breaks during college, I worked as a classroom assistant at a Montessori school in Mason, Ohio. And growing up, I babysat often for my two younger sisters and also for other families. I attended NYU (where I served as Read more a Resident Assistant for 2 years) and graduated with my BFA in Drama and a minor in education. I am an auditioning actor and have held many jobs in the food service industry and am also a certified Vinyasa Yoga teacher. Besides my Yoga practice, I also enjoy cooking, reading, singing, jogging and other forms of fitness, travel, being outside, and journaling. Currently, I am a regular afternoon babysitter for a 6 year old girl in Astoria and babysit semi-regularly for a family with a 1 year old and 4 year old in Union Square.
