I started babysitting when I was 13 years old, starting with family friends, cousins, and my younger sister and fell in love with working with children right away. I have babysat up to 4 children at a time, with ages ranging from 3 months to 12 years old. I recently graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a Bachelor's in Theatre Arts Performance, so I tend to bring a lot of enthusiasm with me wherever I go and love to play, sing, and do little skits with the kids. At the same time, I also have experience sitting down with school age children and helping with homework and chores. The important balance of play and growth is one that I try and gauge from the parent in order to ensure that the child has consistency between parent and babysitter. Through high school, I was babysitting for 2 families at once, as Read more well as babysitting my younger sister (now 10, I can't believe it!). I continued babysitting through college for professors and community members while also returning to hometown families as well whenever possible, whether to visit or babysit for a date night. Now, I have permanently relocated to Queens and look forward to meeting and forming relationships with new families in this community! Babysitting is something I am very passionate about because I love getting to spend time with the kids, play new games with them, and watch them learn new things and grow throughout my time with them.
