Hello, My name is Shaina, I am 27 years old and recently moved back to NYC after 3 years at home in Missouri. I am from a large family and I love kids! I started babysitting at a young age and have just never really stopped. :-) My "real" job has been in the entertainment industry where I work as a Stage Manager/Wardrobe Supervisor/Stagehand/ Whatever. Haha. However I am looking for a career change. I am recently engaged and am wanting to find a job that allows me to spend more time with my fiance who works a normal Mon-Fri job. So in the mean time I am looking for a family or families that are looking for a babysitter! As I said I began babysitting at a very young age. I was a live-out Nanny for a 2 month old for 2 years in High School, watching her in evenings and weekends while her parents performed in shows. I was a live-in Nanny for 9 month old twins for a 3 month show run in South Carolina. Between 2011-2012 while I lived in the city I babysat for a few different families with children between 14 months- 4 years. Most of my recent babysitting has been for family as I have 10 nieces and nephews under 10 years old. As for older children, I was a camp counselor in High school for a 4-H camp as well as many vacation bible schools. I also assisted in leading church youth group for high schoolers. I am trained in infant CPR And experienced with special needs. My youngest sister is autistic, developmentally slow, and has speech apraxia.
