Hello couples, families, and single parents- I am a 30 year old professional, caring female. Currently finishing up my last year as graduate student at UO. Being the eldest of 3 siblings it became second nature for me to care for and play with children. I recently returned from volunteering in Africa for 3 months and traveling through Europe and believe it's important to expose children to culture at a young age to help feed their curiosity. I've worked in sales and account management for the past 5 years and looking to help out a family so I can have more time to apply for graduate school.. On my free time you will find me dancing, running, exploring art galleries, or cooking. I am familiar with Sittercity and have helped 3 families long term as a result. The first family was my college professor's 2 children ages 8 and 13, Read more second family had 2 children ages 9 & 12 yrs, and the third family who I still help out once a week has 1 son 7 years old. I can be trusted with anything from picking up from school, preparing snacks, homework help, dinner prep, play, and light cleaning. I'm very health conscious and can cook vegan/ vegetarian as well. Given my background in Psychology (B.A.) and Public Health, I have tremendous patience and am experienced in working with children on the autism spectrum. In college I worked at our child development center and helped kids with ADHD thrive in class room settings through positive reinforcement and creative expression.
