I take inspiration from kids’ curiosity and playfulness— two key ingredients for creating a fulfilling life. I am passionate about cooking and teaching kids. I’ve worked as a chef in a coop, preparing vegetarian meals for 100 members at a time. So, I’m happy to cook for your child and involve them in the process if they wish. Serving as a camp counselor at a science and nature oriented camp for three years, I’ve taught survival skills like fire-building as well as arts and crafts, theater, and games. In addition, I’ve taught bike mechanics to middle schoolers in an after-school program. I enjoy tutoring in all subjects. In college I worked as a Writing Associate tutoring students with their writing. I also attended a Spanish-immersion school growing up and would be happy to help with language learning. Aside from baby-sitting, I am currently studying graphic design and theater.
