My name is Elizabeth and I am in my early 30s, experienced, educated live out nanny/sitter who has worked with special needs children in the past and currently working on my Masters in Social Work with afternoons off. I am a seeking a position with a nice family for a long term part time position in Manhattan, Brooklyn or Western Queens. I consider myself to be pretty patient with children of all ages because of my experience with special needs children including children with ADHD. I am a very neat , detail oriented person and like working with the parents as a team. I consider myself to be fun , vibrant, highly energetic, nurturing and loving. I enjoy doing many things with the children I have worked for in the past such as doing crafts, tutoring, homework assistance, reading, cooking, going to the park, making play dates, taking Read more children to activities in “TIME OUT NEW YORK KIDS” and other sites. I live right by the train so transportation wont be a problem. I am extremely reliable, a non smoker and am open to having a background check done if requested. I am also CPR certified. I am experienced with taking children on the train to and from school and after school activities. I have excellent references and have had great relationships with the past families I have babysat for. The families I have worked for we still keep in contact from time to time and it felt like they were my own family. II am flexible with hours , so as far as my school schedule goes I can work around your schedule and make it work for all of us. My rate is $15 - $20.
