Hello Families! I’m Kenia. I’m 28 years old. College student of Operation Management at CUNY. I speak English and Spanish. I love to share with different cultures, cooking, singing, reading, skating, hiking, dancing, running, traveling, going to the beach, and camping. I love to do a lot of activities. I’m a very active person. Outdoors activities are my favorites! I’m the older sister of two siblings (boys 11 and 17 years old ) My experience with kids starts with my brothers. I used to take care of them since they were born. I became to be an au pair in the United States for 1 year. I was taking care of 3 kids ( 8 and 12 years old boys and 4 years old girl) I was more than an au pair for them. I was their old sister. I loved to take care of them, drove them to the Read more school and to the different activities, prepared breakfast, lunch or dinner, organize their toys, room, and their clothes, help them with their homework and chores, get them ready for bed, practice and teach them Spanish, do outdoors activities (go to the pool, soccer games, go to the library, play in the snow), indoors activities (bake and decorate cookies, handcrafts, play board games and read books). Certainly, one of my favorite experiences. Since then, I became to be a caregiver because I realized how much I love kids! I love the way that they see things and the smart that they are! A lot of things make me good at my job but some of them are that I’m a very patient, friendly, responsible, punctual, and comprehensive person. I have certification from Cultural care training school, CPR AED, au pair of the year from Cultural Care, an au pair year program from Cultural Care, and a lot of references. I will be so happy to share all my experiences with your kids!
