I am currently a certified teacher in New York State, and have had experience working with students in New York City Public Schools. I have been baby sitting for multiple families for 11 years. The families I have babysat for have typically had more than one child, of varying ages from 2 years old to 14 years old. Some of these families also have children who have at least one child that has special needs, developmentally disabled, learning disabled, autistic, or have ADD or ADHD. The two families I currently babysit for on a regular basis have one child with ASD. One of these families has three children, two of the children are twins with ASD. Both families I have babysat for for over eight years. I am very patient and have had a vast amount of experience with special needs children. I am up for playing any game, including Read more appropriate video games, with the children. I am also available to provide homework help/tutoring if needed. I have no issue watching more than two children at one time and taking children to their given after school activities, such as classes.
