Originally I come from Switzerland (the German part) where I earned my teaching degree and gained extensive experience as a head kindergarten teacher. My function included leading a group of 20 - 25 children, plan and execute the lessons, special needs education, school enrollment, parent teacher conferences to name a few.  After several years of teaching, I moved to New York to extended my studies in Musical Theatre (Voice, Dance, Acting) at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy and have worked as a part time singer/songwriter as well as with children ever since. My practice with children in New York ranges from working as a caregiver (all ages) to teaching German summer camp as well as being part of creating a private classes/tutoring for German bilingual children. I focus on using books, songs, movement, language games and arts & crafts to facilitate language learning.
