Hi! My name is Lenni! I am returning to NYC this January and looking for part time hours with a fun family! I actually moved from NYC to MA this past summer to nanny for the family I had been with for the year and a half prior to moving to NYC. Sadly, this amazing family will be moving to CO to start a new adventure this winter! I was extremely lucky to spend so much time with this wonderful (now 3. 5-year-old!) boy and his incredible parents these past two and a half years! In my first year I was around for his first steps, first words, and first summer! I spent between 5 and 7 days a week with him in some capacity. Sometimes it was 4 hours and sometimes it was from the time we woke up until he went to bed at night. He became my Read more best bud and we did just about everything possible for a 2-year-old to do in a year. While in NYC, I came back several times to watch him while the parents were away for business and in these few months that I have been in MA to help them (they have a new baby now too!), I have done everything from after school pick up, to Trick-or-Treating, to Weekend Overnights. Most recently in NYC I did after school babysitting for two great families in Manhattan (6-year-old girl and 5-year-old boy). Responsibilities included after school pick up, snacks and meals, after school playdates/activities/playing together, and occasionally bath and bedtime! My first year in New York I was the full time weekday nanny for 3 girls (4, 6, 8) on the Upper East Side. My responsibilities included after school activity drop off/pick up, preparing snacks/meals, bath time, bedtime, homework, clean up, and some disciplining. I also was the family live in nanny for 2 weeks in Aspen. I also worked part time with one 8-year-old boy after school (my duties were similar, but I also helped out with their puppy), and I spent my mornings with a 7-month-old girl! The tasks with the 7-month-old included feeding, playtime/reading, strolling, diaper changing, nap time, the whole deal! I have years of camp experience with the Parks and Recreation Drama Program and at a summer camp. Since moving back, I have also been teaching dance classes for teens in Concord, MA. I am outgoing, fun, but able to lay down the rules at the same time. I am looking for something in afternoons/afterschool, but am generally open for anything right now!
