I have been involved with working with children since the age of 13. I started with babysitting throughout my summers and going on missions trips all over New England with my church, helping out in classrooms. As I got older, I would become the lead teacher in some of the classrooms, and I even led arts and crafts, and game time. I held a job at a daycare for a little less than a year, but unfortunately had to leave when I moved to Boston. I was a teacher's aide for the school age room, and eventually shared the Head Teacher position in the toddler room at the daycare. My capabilities range from changing diapers and potty training to helping with homework and school projects. Being able to keep up with a child's busy daily routine is one thing, but to sincerely love doing it is another.
