I would be a good caregiver because I have extensive experience in babysitting, and also working with children in general. I have cared for a baby who was sixth months old, up until he was 12 months old. I would attend to him if he ever woke up at night, and if so, I would hold him and rock him until he fell asleep again, and put him back in his crib. I also have experience with bathing children, and I have bathed two infants, one of them as young as 6 months old, and I have also changed diapers before. I have also cared for 3 children at once, one 4 years old, one 2, and one 8 months old. My most recent babysitting experience was for a 2 year old with a congenital Gastrointestinal defect, so I know how to care for children that have specific needs. I Read more interact very well with children and play very well with them. Finally, I have experience in shadowing in two different pediatric emergency rooms, so I am familiar with medical terminology and would know how to act if I ever needed to bring a child to the doctor or the emergency room. Overall, I have a deep love of children, and feel confident that I would provide excellent care to any child or infant.
