Jazmine B.

Jazmine left our daughter unattended during after-school pick up! We were fortunate because another parent and my daughters teacher intervened when they saw that she was left alone clearly for more than the "second" Jazmine claimed she turned her head to retrieve a bag. When Jazmine told me the story of not being able to find my five year old daughter she made it seem as if she had run outside of the school on her own (hello? why wasn't she holding her hand?!). School staff, my daughter and other parents all told the same story but one different from Jazmine. Jazmine's main concern was that another parent was "dramatic" and chastised her for not doing her job. To Jazmine it was no big deal our daughter ended up back in her classroom. Even the teacher reminded her that she needs to hold her hand as there are many people coming in and out of the school during pick up time (hello? Babysitting 101!). Jazmine said she didn't want to "deal with that." Apparently, there are a lot of things that Jazmine does not want to deal with including goodie bags sent home after a school party. Like a lot of people of her generation, she has a false sense of entitlement and doesn't "want to deal" with anything including the responsibilities she was so willing and eager to take on. Jazmine's terse response of "everyone is entitled to there opinion" when we informed her we no longer needed her was indicative of her maturity level or lack there of. I think she's more suited working in a profession where batting your eyelashes, flinging your hair and thinking you're too cool for school are the things that get your paid! She was grossly overpaid and should be ashamed of herself.
