Currently a third-year Occupational Therapy Student at NYU. I have experience working with children from birth-12 years in various contexts, including summer camps, church childcare ministry, and after-school sitting. I volunteered for two years as a camp counselor for an Occupational Therapy Summer Camp designed for children ages 4-5 who have difficulty managing their behaviors and reactions to sensory experiences around them. Depending on what the weekly educational theme was, we would take the children on trips to the Transit Museum, the library, the zoo, and the park. I have a 7 month old niece and 6 year-old niece whom I also babysit. Some of my interests are fitness, nutrition, travelling, and spending time with my family. I am also an animal lover and have two English Bulldogs and a cat at home.
