There's just something charming and rewarding about working with children. I will never forget the first little boy I worked with. His mother, freshly married yet preparing for divorce. I could see the urgency in her eyes and how important her child's needs were to her. She wanted to make time for her children, but also needed assistance with them as she made time to prepare for drastic changes in their near future. It would be my duty to make sure this child never once felt the strain of his two parents going through a divorce. Working with this 5 year old was a joy! His parents stayed together a few more years, and that gave them enough time to bring along a little sister for this little boy. I am so glad that the memories before their parents divorce are filled with playdates, trips to the park and some Read more fun summer reading. I spent 12 hours a day with these children and I enjoyed every moment of it. Although the parents are now divorced, and the family has moved to another state, I still keep in touch and get texts throughout the day from these adorable children, the boy now 10 years old, and his baby sister, now 6. Joshua was an adorable baby boy. As soon as he was born, he refused his mother's breastmilk so his feeding habits demanded close attention. Jireh was also a fast learner! By 7 months he was already walking and began forming words. Of the list of boys and girls I've worked with, though all of them are special, with Joshua around, I anticipate the day I become a mother. I enjoy working with children and I look forward to meeting and working with yours!
