Hello parents! Thank you for reading my profile. I just moved to NYC! While I have many years of professional experience in the non-profit/hospitality/event planning sector I would like to tell you more about my childcare experience. I have 8+ years of solid childcare experience. I have done everything from occasional babysitting to live-in nanny. My experience ranges from working with newborns to teenagers, however I would emphasize that my experience with babies and toddlers is the greatest. I take great interest and am continuously fascinated by human development and that is one of the reasons I enjoy working with kids so much. What I offer you in authentic interest in your child. I generally adhere to your parenting style and follow it - even though I am do not hesitate to make recommendations when necessary. I can be as hand-on or hands-off with your child/children as you (or your Read more child) wishes. I am definitely not the type of person that will spend my time with your children browsing my phone. I like to be involved, I like to play, create projects and make crafts. I can help with homework, make meals and do light housekeeping around the house. While I am a reliable driver I currently do not own a car but I am confident navigating the concrete jungle of NYC with your children. I am big fan of the outdoors and always strive to provide the kids with healthy dose of the outdoors where they can run around and expel the excess energy. Since most of my childcare jobs were in urban settings I am a pro in finding parks and jungle gyms in the neighborhood. I am very trustworthy person and I understand the fact that while I am working I am responsible for little humans that are the most important things in the world for you. I do not take such responsibility lightly and exercise safety with your children at all times. My latest working experience was for a young family with one adorable almost 2 year old boy in Salem, Massachusetts. Previously I watched 3 boys in Wenham, Massachusetts of ages 5, 10 & 13. My longest, continuous childcare job was for family in Salem, MA during college. I was a live-in nanny for almost the entire time I was in college (4 years). When I started I took care of a 6 month old girl and when I ended I was spending my days with 4 & 2,5 year old.
