I have worked in child care for 8 years and absolutely love what I do. I worked in a day care for all of the 8 years. I worked as an Assistant Teacher for 1 year, a Lead Teacher for 2 years and a Substitute Teacher for 5 years while I was pursuing my degrees and exploring employment opportunities in my field of study which is Psychology. I am currently a Social Worker working in a preventive program to help keep families together that are at risk of separation by ACS. Working with and supporting children is very rewarding for me. Although I have a full time job, I miss working hands-on with little ones and am looking for some occasionally opportunities to babysit on evenings and weekends for families in need.
