Hi there! My name is Michelle and I am a 27 year old babysitter and tutor who absolutely loves kids and who is really a kid at heart. I have over 10 years experience babysitting for children ages newborn to 12 years old, as well as teaching 3rd-8th graders, and supervising teenagers as a camp supervisor. I have my Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish and ESL for k-12 from NYU and I have 3 years of experience teaching Spanish as a tutor. I also have a certification in Health Coaching so I know a lot about nutrition and healthy eating and absolutely LOVE cooking healthy and delicious meals. For one family, I was able to get their kids who hated vegetables to request broccoli on a regular basis! I love to put on plays and skits with kids (I was trained in opera for 7 years and was in many Read more musicals), create songs, explore nature, play fun and educational games, and read books that expand their imagination. At my most recent nannying job, we did fun things together like play Cutthroat Kitchen where we battled for who made the best meals with the craziest ingredients, and made creative presents like a birthday themed Sorry game and family-themed playing cards for Chanukah presents. My end goal is to open a school for children that allows them to be prepared for the entrepreneur and self-starter world that they are growing into by first doing it myself.
