In addition to extensive babysitting experience, I was also an American Red Cross Babysitting instructor at my local community center for two summers in a row. After becoming a certified instructor from the Red Cross, I taught classes of students ages 11-15 the American Red Cross babysitting syllabus, which included everything from the basics of diaper changing and bottle feeding to first aid care. We also took daily trips to the community center's day care center, where I observed my students as they played with children aged from infancy to 5 years.
