I first started as a teacher's assistant at a Montessori School called Washington Market in Tribeca where I grew up. After a year there I ran their after-school program and later ran another after-school program called the Puppet Loft at P.S. 234. I also did substitute work at Trinity Church Nursery School and Children's Aid Society Daycare. Years later when I moved to San Francisco I helped run the Learning Bridge Daycare. I now live in Park Slope where I've raised my daughter and have been doing childcare for families in the area for over 10 years. My specialty is caring for infants, toddlers and young children although I am good with and enjoy caring for children of all ages! My aim is to nurture, engage, enrich and involve your child in educational, fun activities appropriate for their stage of development while maintaining a consistent, safe, healthy and loving environment Read more for your child's well being. I'm always enthusiastically involved with the children I care for which has been very rewarding ! My approach is to adapt to your parenting style, always following your instructions and wishes. I am also happy to offer support and advice whenever needed. I am happy to prepare meals, give baths and stay late if necessary . I also love animals and am amenable to Nanny shares . Play-dates are always welcomed and am also able to arrange . I love being outdoors and in the park or playground and being active. I've been told I'm a genius with getting children to nap well at consistent times as well as assisting with potty training. I like to read many books, sing songs, dance, play everything , make music, do arts and crafts or creative play, go on outings to park, library, museums, classes and children's activities throughout the city! Safety and patience are my number one priorities and you can rely on me to be 100 % attentive to your child's needs, happiness and good care at all times.
