Hello -- I'm a recent Yale graduate, living and working in New York as a writer. I've been a journalist, at The Atlantic and The Marshall Project, for the past two years and will be attending NYU to pursue an MFA in fiction this fall. I have worked with kids for more than a decade, since I was a kid myself -- as a babysitter, a classroom assistant in public and private schools, a camp counselor, and as a teacher and Co-Director of a summer school program in New Haven, CT. My own babysitters and teachers throughout childhood were a source of fun, as well as inspiration -- mentors who shaped my experience growing up and who, in many cases, I continue to be in touch with.
