My name is Mary. I am currently an undergrad student in college majoring in pediatric nursing. all throughout my life I been around children of family, friends, and other past jobs. since I was a kid I have been caring for other kids younger than me. I have helped care for my cousins since the age of 7 and that experience allowed me to develop great skills in child-care work. I love children and my compassionate nature and friendly personality makes me get along with them in no time. I am able to keep children happy and this quality makes me happy too. I enjoy developing kids, both emotionally and physically, which is the main reason why I want this job. I am punctual, energetic, patience and independable person. I am also bilingual; I am very fluent in Spanish as well in English. I am well informed that as a babysitter my main responsibilities are the children’s safety and wellbeing, responding to their needs, accompanying them to the park, helping with homework and teaching them to become independent, responsible citizens. I am friendly with kids. I understand the use of positive and polite language in front of kids for their psychological development. I know when a child needs special attention. I believe in spending time with kids in a productive way by engaging them in activities which involve learning and development of mind as well as healthy growth.
