Hey there! My name is Paola, I am currently a education/Math major and a sub-paraprofessional for the DOE. I feel I am a great fit for this position because I have 9 years of nannyinh experience and 4 years in child care/educator experience. In 2003 I was offered a position to take care of a 2-month-old infant. I have done everything from changing diapers to bottle feeding and taking him to doctor's appointments. I prepared meals, ran errands and did light house cleaning. I watched him take his first step, say his first word and start his first year of school. I contacted Paola for babysitting and she replied saying she would be interested in the job. We set up an interview date to which she did not show up to and neither did she call canceling it. When I phoned her she said she got a message in the morning from someone canceling and assumed it was me. I think you should be responsible enough to match names and phone numbers to respective jobs. When we talked about rescheduling she quickly said she won't be available as school and work will be starting. If you aren't available or interested please don't set up an interview date or if your plans have changed have the decency to call and let the other person know in advance. After speaking to her and setting up the interview date she had 4 to 5 days till the interview. She had ample time to cancel. Bottom line I wouldn't hire her and would not feel comfortable leaving my girls with an irresponsible person like her.
