Hi There! My name is Elle, I am a graduate student at Columbia University's Teachers College working towards my masters in Social Studies Teaching. I am a full-time student so I am looking for some meaningful part-time work. I would love the opportunity to provide additional childcare assistance for a Brooklyn family. I am a Fort Green resident, so it would be a plus to make some neighborhood connections as well. I have a variety of experience working with children and young adults. Tutoring, mentoring, and teaching K-12 age kids in the Humanities is my expertise, but I also have a professional background in magazine editing and radio production. In addition to providing general care, I can also assist your kids with their homework assignments, college prep, etc. In my spare time, I paint, write, volunteer in my community, and cook! I actually spent my first year after college working Read more as a line cook at the restaurant, Diner, in Williamsburg. So I am also proficient in the kitchen and can make your kids some delicious snacks.
