I am a social work NYU graduate student who upon graduating plans to specialize in children and family therapy. As far as experience, I have personal experience as that I am the oldest of my three siblings. There is an 11 and 15 -year gap between my siblings and I. So, I have done my fair share of care-giving. Also, I have professional experience with elementary and middle school aged children mentoring, tutoring, and planning recreational activities for an afterschool program. I also have worked in a hospital setting as a Care Partner/Certified Nurses Assistant and have experience with children of all levels of functioning. I love care-giving because it is a self-less opportunity to bond and learn from another person no matter their age or ability. This human to human interaction is something I value. I look forward to answering any questions and providing insight about my experiences.
