I have always loved children so I chose to study elementary school education in college in my home country Switzerland. My studies taught me how to be patient, compassionate and understanding in difficult situations as well as a good organizer.

Since living in New York I have been working as a nanny and babysitter. I love working one-on-one with children because it gives me the opportunity to apply all my attention and really get to know his or her character. To me, the best part about teaching is seeing how a child learns new things and develops his or her personality. This is a process that I enjoy being part of. My native language is German and I have been learning English for 10+ years. I've been living in New York for a few years now so my English is very good.

Some of my favorite activities with the kids are going to the playground and running around, or when at home reading tons of books, drawing together, or simply playing with toys and having an open ear when they want to tell a story.
