My loving wife Odessa passed away in March 1983 from childbirth complications. Odessa made me promise to take care of our 6 week old daughter Jessica and our 7 yr. old son Leon Jr. I promised her I would!! I have taken care of the both of them for the last 32 yrs. Jessica just turned 32 on Feb. 14, 2015 and my son turned 39 on Dec.8. I am 64. I was selected father of the year on the Oprah Winfrey show in Nov. 1992. I retired from First Niagara Bank in May of 2013. I also worked for Harrison Radiator Div. of GM for 17 years. My Supvr. David Clark and I saved the life of an employee...Maxine Johnson...from cardiac arrest and received GM highest award from Roger Smith Chairman of The Board in March 1990. We also received the American Red Cross highest national award...The certificate of Read more Merit...from former President George G.W. Bush in April 1991. I have been a member of my church for 37 yrs. and take care of many of our senior members. I deliver food to them and visit many of our members in the hospital and nursing homes. I assist them in any way I can.
