My objective is to provide quality care for your little ones. My experience with children began as a babysitter when I was a teenager. I continued working with children by teaching swimming for the American Red Cross for over 30 years, coaching little league teams and high school tennis. The excitement of seeing a child learn got me interested in teaching as a profession. I went to school at night and provided day care in my home during the day. During this time I cared for infants to four years of age during the school year and during the summer children of elementary age providing activities, outings and crafts. I went on to get a B. A. in elementary teaching and art. After 27 years in the Virginia public school system I retired and have moved to be closer to my family but still want to work with children.
