Hi! my name is Monique Milligan, I am 22years old and currently a student at Daemen college. I have 2 going on 3 years of babysitting experience, I worked as a childcare provider in NYC. Being that I’m not a licensed provider I was only allowed to care for up to three children. I had a great experience with the family and as they been working around my school schedule, they needed someone full time while I was at school. But, I had routines for the children when I came in from picking them up from school. I would make sure they ate and give them a little snack until it’s time for dinner. We would do homework , writing, drawing ( because I can paint and sketch) along with outdoor activities more so when the weather starts to get nice. I try my best to go to my best Read more abilities to assure that I’m doing what is expected of the parents and for the child. I also, worked with kids in about two of the community centers in buffalo, where I would help them with homework and things that they need. I am currently studying psychology so I can better understand children and people in general and those classes even help me understand children’s behavior and the proper way to care for children is to learn them as a person and use that to help you build a nice bond.
