My name is Alexandra, I'm 23 years old, and I am an experienced babysitter/nanny and and a 2018 graduate from NYU Tisch School of the Arts in photography. As an arts student, I am creative, fun, and highly organized. I currently live in the Boerum/Cobble Hill area, so I would be a great fit for a family in South Brooklyn or by a freelance job I have by Union Square. I babysat in my hometown of Yarmouth, Maine for six years and worked in a daycare my senior year of high school. In the past five years, I have been babysitting in New York City. At the daycare, I worked after school with the kids, either with the elementary schoolers or with the toddlers. I organized activities and helped with playtime. This was a great way to work with kids in a more formal and educational setting than babysitting, as Read more it was a program with typically 30+ kids from ages 2-11. It helped me gain experience and knowledge about childcare as I worked with certified teachers who have had decades of experience. My longest-term babysitting experiences have been for an eighteen-month old little girl, gaining experience with younger children. I also nannied for a four year old little girl all day during the week, cooking, playing, going to the park, the beach, the library, etc. I have held several regular babysitting positions in New York the past year, most recently for a 12 year old student after school. I am First Aid/CPR certified for adults and children. I started babysitting after growing up spending a lot of time around my younger cousins.
