Edible Schoolyard NYC Volunteer: - Educating Children -Seeing lesson plans -Prepping lesson plans and task for the day -Working with children from Pre K- 5th Grade Garden and Kitchen- Gaining an understanding of the connection Between the garden and the kitchen and how both teachers educate the students on food and where it comes from. For myself I have gained Encouragement and the ability to handle task I have not gone to school for.
