I've been an au pair in the US for 2 years (Feb 2011-2013), helping to take care of toddlers. I woke the kids up, helped to dress up, brush teeth,get ready for the day. My duties included changing diapers, potty training, meal preparation and serving breakfast/lunch/dinner, preparing snacks. During the day we were playing games together, taking walks, reading books, dancing, drawing, playing with toys. I did some light house cleaning, laundry, took the trash out. Few times a week I had to drop the kids at the pre-school and pick them up few hours later. Also, I gave them bath few times a week. Sometimes, when I worked in the evening, I put the kids to bed as well. Plus, I have an experience of babysitting school age children (6-year-old, 7-year-old, 9-year-old).
