I am 18, and currently studying Engineering at SUNY New Paltz. I have a brother 9 years younger than me, so I grew up with a young child in the household. I started watching children when I was 14. I was a mother's helper for two girls, ages 2 and 5. I helped prepare snacks, look after them, and did laundry. At 16 I started watching a 6 month yr old boy, and have looked after him ever since (he is now 2 and a half). I babysat regularly on weekends and when needed during the week. I have been on weekend trips with the family as well. I have handled changing diapers, feeding, nap time and bed time. I have prepared meals as well.
