I am currently a freshman college student at Emory University. Before leaving for school, I sat for a family on the weekends with two 9-year-old twin girls and a 5-year-old girl. I sat for them for 3 years and continue to do so during my breaks from school. However, I am looking for a job with a more regular schedule, and more hours. At Emory, I am involved in a club called Emory Reads, in which I travel to an elementary school in Atlanta once a week to aid teachers in their everyday classroom activities. Furthermore, I have volunteered at an old age home for 3 years. While this doesn't directly relate to my experience in childcare, it has given me the ability to think on my feet, and develop skills of communication and care with people of all ages.
