I've spent many years volunteering around children: at a public library, an elementary school (K-grade), and most recently a pediatric office. I am currently a college student, with the intention of becoming a Pediatric Physician Assistant. I have been working part-time (retail) with a company that sells merchandise for concerts since 2008. In terms of babysitting non-relatives, I have experience babysitting children from different age groups. I babysat an 11-year-old boy with special needs for a little over a year. I occasionally babysit a 2-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl, on an as-needed basis. I have also babysat several of my younger cousins (I come from a very large family). I have experience in homework help, light meal prep, laundry, cleaning, exam prep, and engaging in creative and learning-oriented activities with children. I'm looking to supplement my income in order to help cover basic costs of being a full-time college Read more student. I would love to work with children in the nearby future as a career so I think babysitting is perfect for me!
