I've lived in NYC for most of my life and went to hunter college where I graduated with a degree in Psychology. I have extensive experience as a child caregiver for over 8 years with children of every age. I'm passionate about child psychology and development and caring for children has brought me a great sense of purpose and joy throughout this time. My philosophy is that since infants and children are acutely aware of their surroundings and desires, and each have very different personalities, it is of utmost importance to slow down and enhance our awareness in order to interact with children on their level. Providing the love, support, and confidence for little ones to grow into autonomous, self-directed, and kind young adults is my vision. I help facilitate this growth through creative play, loving validation, and giggles, while providing clear boundaries. Working as part of a team has proven to be one of my strengths because I've always had a nurturing spirit and I consider myself to be instinctively cooperative. However, I'm perfectly comfortable taking full charge, as well. I'm both infant and child CPR and first aid certified, as well as baby nurse and nanny certified through The Meticulous Baby Nurse and CPR training center.
