Hi my name is Melissa I'm a grandmother of one who I take care of quite a bit.I have 2 grown daughter's both whom are nurses and I'm very proud of.I have my own car and I'm willing to babysit days,evenings,weekends or just for a night out. I'm 50 years old and have traveled extensively...I have Volunteered in the county of Nepal teach children from the ages of 3-12..I like to do educational & crafts with the children I care for. I'm what you call "old school" and believe children should be kept busy by playing outdoor and not sitting in front of the T.V or computer for extended periods of time..I can cook and do light housekeeping for an added cost...

I'm not even sure where to go with this. we had Melissa come out, meet the kids and do a trial run to see how things would go. I figured it would be a good way to gauge her sitting style. For starters, she brought her grandson with her, she did not ask about it ( I would not have had any problem had she asked). She seemed to get along well with the kids except for a couple small issues. When the baby was in the walker, she wouldn't let her go more than a foot or two from her. Also, it appeared she had been carrying the baby around for almost 30 minutes at a time, which we are trying to break of always wanting to be held. I mentioned both of these to Melissa, expecting a thanks for the feedback, and instead go, I'm not the person for you" text. Honestly, those were the only two things and I was really looking forward to her sitting the kids. She was my first strike out on this website, but give her a chance to get with you for future sitting. Best of Luck to Melissa.
