Hi I'm Sarah! I'm currently attending the University of Connecticut for a Bachelors Degree in Psychology focusing on Early Childhood Development with a minor in Fine Art, on a track to eventually get a PhD in Art Therapy. I have been Babysitting since 2009 (age 12) and have always loved working with kids! I have been babysitting and nannying consistently through out high school and middle school, so i have had many babysitting jobs in the past, including jobs with infants under one year (dirty diapers and throw up don't even phase me any more) up to age 14. I love keeping kids active while watching them so they're nice and tired by nap time or bed time, so I'm more than willing to take trips to the beach or a park if wanted. Nanny experience: began nannying for an 8-year-old girl and her 14-year-old sister from the end of Read more junior year of high school through the summer before starting college. Responsibilities included: drive 14-yr-old to and from school, pick up 8-yr-old from bus after school, drive to various practices (dance, lacrosse, gymnastics). Often would take the kids on bike rides, hiking, to the playground, beach, and the pool. If help with breakfast, lunch, or dinner is needed, I have spent years finding the best ways to get my younger brother, cousins, and kids I have babysat for to eat healthy but yummy foods. I'm no master chef, but I know my way around a kitchen! I was trained as a Life Guard by Red Cross and competitively swam through Junior year of high school so water safety as well as handling minor medical emergencies are no issue. At the moment I am in Connecticut, but I am moving out to East Hampton on May 10th to live with my cousin and work at his restaurant in Hampton Bays.
