I am currently a paralegal working full time at a law firm. I am looking for night or weekend babysitting jobs. Prior to my current job, I was a full time nanny. I have been babysitting professionally for over 6 years. I have stayed with families (full time and occasionally) for 2+ years. I do have references to confirm my experience. Aside from studying Criminal Justice, I am also in the process of working towards a Psychology minor; this includes taking numerous child development courses. I come from a fairly large family so I spent the majority of my life taking care of kids. I like to make and sell desserts as a side hobby. Most of the kids I care for love to bake and cook as well so it’s always something we bond over. My strongest qualities stem from my patience, kindness, and how nurturing I am. The Read more kids I care for always feel as if they’re hanging out with a companion as opposed to just being watched over. My full attention goes to them. I make it my goal to find creative and fun activities that will get their attention and brain working at the same time. While I do come up with fun activities, I am well aware that my position entails fully respecting the parents’/guardians’ wishes. I will completely follow any rules or guidelines in place for the kids and myself. If there are any practices or activities that I do not feel comfortable with, that is something I will bring up prior to caring for the kids. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me!
