Hello. My name is Nisha. I'm 28 years old and a mother of two little ones (an almost 4-year-old daughter and recently turned 2-year-old son). Before I gave birth to my daughter, I was studying towards a B. S. in Psychology and B. A. in Education, and do hope to resume my studies soon. My interest in child care grew strongly with the birth of my youngest brother. Right from the very beginning, I would help my mum with the smallest things, i. e. washing, drying and changing nappies. As he grew and became more and more independent, I found myself watching over other children in the neighborhood and those of my parent's friends. When I entered the university, I found myself part-taking in a number of aftercare programs, many of which were designed for those families not able to afford private child care. Becoming a mother has intensified that love and I can assure you that any child in my care would be considered no less than him or her being my own. Just as I would expect nothing less than perfection from the individual caring or teaching my children, I would hope you demand the same from myself. I believe very strongly that in order to understand a person, you have to think the way they do. Hence, the best tactic towards understanding a child, is becoming a child yourself. The best way to describe myself as an individual would be "simple". While I attempt to make the experience that the child under my care, as fun as possible, I'm completely aware that it's most important to establish the child's understanding of who's the child and who's the adult. I feel most blessed that I've never had any trouble with a parent or child(ren) I've cared for or taught, and hope to never see that day. Please address any questions or concerns you may have freely, as your child's well being should never be compromised for anything in the world. While I've stated my availability hours, I am pretty flexible and am very willing to adjust my schedule to work with that of my clients.
