My love for working with children and caring for them came from my relationship with my younger brother. Ever since I was little, I enjoyed playing teacher and 'House' with my younger brother. Even though I currently have no formal babysitting experience, I do have plenty of experience in working with kids. I had worked as a personal tutor for kids, ages 5, 7, and 9, for two and a half years. As a tutor, I learned the importance of forming a good relationship with each of my students, a relationship that surpasses just that of a teacher and a student. To me, it's important to build trust with the child and be understanding and patient. Even though at the moment, this is only a 'summer job' for me, as I am still a college-student, I plan to work with children in the future.
