I grew up with a twin who always needed help. Taking care of someone was engrained in my daily life since I was able to look after my twin -- which mainly started at age 9. I was 12 years old when I started babysitting and became the local babysitter for my town. As I got older and realized I could take care of much more than one kid I took up a Camp job and usually worked with kids, of both sexes, ranging from 4-13 in age. A few years ago while I was working for a camp I saw a kid get hurt. I felt completely useless because I didn't have the medical training to help her. I decided that I would take first aid and later decided to become a Basic Medical Technician. Being with kids is one of the best experiences that I have ever had.
