Hello... thank you for taking the time to read this and get to know a little about me. I am 26 years old and have had a passion for children from a very young age. At 13 years old I was volunteer youth counselor at the Glen Cove Boys and Girls Club. I would help with art activities as well as help the children with their day to day transitions. Between the ages of 13 and 16 I continued to work for the Boys and Girls Club as an after school helper as well as camp counselor with children varying in ages from 5-11. At the age of 20 I began working at SCO Family of Services with the special needs population. Some of the task I would do here is help our residents work on coping skills and replacement skills.
