Hello Parents, Allow me to provide you with a little insight as to my exp. Besides being current on my yearly flu shots, Vaccination shots, CPR, & 1st Aid Certification. I do have over 10yrs or so exp working w/children. Ranging from my earlier years of employment up into now. With the 10yrs+ under my belt- I've worked 2 Summers as a Camp Counselor in my High School Yrs. From there I started working as a babysitter for a friend of mine. Then started working for a family as a Nanny. Eventually, I whined up majoring in Early Childhood- as part of my internship... I had the privilege of working at a Christian Day Care Center/School as Teacher’s Assistant. While also working as an Assistant in a Privately-Owned Day Care Center. Eventually, I started working as a Nanny once again for 2 more families. And just as of recently- I Read more was employed w/a Jewish Learning Center for children ranging from as young as 6 m/o - the Preschool ages. From all the Childcare service I’ve provided for Parents, Friends, Teachers, & Families in 10+ yrs or so. I have cared for children from the Infancy stages all the way to the tween yrs. During my service as a Childcare Provider my duties consisted of: * Diaper changing, making & sterilizing the bottles, putting a child down for naps & bedtime. * Bathe & dress a child. * Washed Dishes, Swept & Mopped floors. * Washed Child's clothing & Bedding's. * Potty Trained. * Assisted in making Lunch, Snacks & Dinner along w/cooking meals. * Take the child out for outdoor activities- including day trips. * Pick-ups & drops-Off to and from school. * Cleaned a child’s Room, including disinfecting toys once a month while keeping the room tidy and organized. * Assisted w/School Work & Projects. * Would assist a child w/administering Medicine. * Assist a child w/Dr. appointments & checkups. So overall, My responsibility is to provide a safe and structure environment where I’m able to guide a child through good values, healthy food choices, proper ethics, social skills, mannerism, & proper behavioral patterns. All in the hopes that I have done my job of instilling a considerable amount of morals & beliefs. In order for a child to become a prime example of being cared for by one who has impacted his/her life in a profound way. That the child would have no choice but to possess a level of good character traits that will lead him/her in the right path of becoming a productive, engaging, & ambitious individual in today’s society.
