My name is Kara, I am 23 years old and have been working with children for 7+ years. In the past I have worked for Huntington school district and the Huntington YMCA as an art teacher, where I have had many hours of training on how to work with kids preschool to teenage years. I have also worked for Long Island Center for Independant Living where my job was to assist a disabled women and her three children on all everyday tasks of life. Including house keeping, school help, laundry, cooking and bathing. I spend my free time volunteering at the Garden City Park Fire Department as a first responder, where I have spent many hours in training on fire safety and first aid.
