I've grown up taking care of children all my life. I have a nice, big family, therefore, I'm always babysitting my siblings' kids or even my neighbors' children. I have over 20 nieces and nephews that I have babysat multiple times. I have been a lifeguard every summer for the past four years and have much experience supervising and watching over children of all ages. Another job that has made me a great caregiver is working as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), where I have assisted people with disabilities reach their everyday needs and goals, giving them their medications, and bringing them on outings. As a DSP it was also my job to take care of not only the consumers, but the household as well. I am CPR, Lifeguard, AED and First Aid Certified.
